No, I don't mean belly buttons.

For quite some time, I've been on a pivotal quest for self understanding. Not because I care if I'm understood by others, but because I want to understand myself. I have an outter self, and an inner self.

I don't want anyone else to tell me what it is they think of me. I mostly want me to tell me what I think about me.

What do YOU think about you?

Like I didn't know that already, tumor dickie.

Funny story: one of my sons is always trying to give me a hard time for the sake of giving me a hard time. So I told him to knock it off because he was making me batshit crazy. His reply,"Batshit what? I've never heard of that before..."

He's 10 yrs old. And for the first time in his entire life, I stumped the kid!

i like to think of that as my outer self; working on other people while not actually being there

What's the purpose of any thread? To stimulate conversation. But hopefully for this thread, some meaningful conversation with REAL people.

you never defined what an innie or outtie was, so I am going to refrain from commenting further until you do so.

That's pretty remarkable in this day and age, because I have my doubts that not many people are interested in other people's innies. For the right reasons, that is.
