there actually are real things that happen to people outside of the internet and not all of it is just "for the lulz" real things do happen to internet people, and it's hard to believe that most people either a) don't believe it even though it comes from a credible source or b) have a feeling of indifference towards it or simply just don't care we all aren't simply text on a screen, we are all real people.

but seriously. someone travels on a bus overnight to meet up with someone and that person doesn't show for all of 30 minutes, and late at that, and is just "meh, whatever...i don't care"...and everyone else pretty much shares that same sentiment? "oh well, it's just the internet, who cares"
