It's a deep green, which is why I wanted it. Also, it's a sort of simple representation of all that is natural and living in the world.

it's not really atheism it's more like deism. And really, my love of nature has been an ongoing thing. I was (am?) a big "argument from design" fan.

It's a decent view. I'm also very intrigued by "the god of the gaps" theory, so we'll see what comes of it.

It's pretty down to earth, if you know what I mean.

haha..ok, here's something funny that just popped into my head. It's a paradox.
Generally the more one would dig, the wider the gap would become, no?

But the beauty here is, the more we dig, the smaller the gaps become, and the closer to God we get. In short, God gets smaller and we get bigger. But no matter what? The closer we get, we'll still never touch God.

At least that's the way I would reason it.

Maybe we are digging holes into the garden of theism, not knowledge, with each discovery.

In that case, the gaps would be the places between the holes. Places that are filled with dirt, or rather, "god". The seeds that go in the holes would represent knowledge.

ah, but that doesn't make sense for the argument because seeds grow in dirt. "God", then, would be the nutrients that knowledge grows from.

Fuck, I should have just stopped posting at "I dig". i'm over-analyzing now.

um, yeah...I just deleted about a paragraph of analysis myself! And decided to just go with "I dig."
