So Im here at Natal, capital of Rio Grande do Norte and hometown of my gf. So tonight I was driving to a mall, I was in a freeway at 80km/h (50 miles) when this fuckin dog jumped in front of my car.

I mean, it was like the dog was waiting for a car to come, since the avenue was empty most of the time. So yeag, a suicidal dog.

Late on the mall, I check that the impact made the (i dont know the english word) cushy part made to reduce impact crack. The fuckin dog will cost me money.

A dog is the only animal in which you have to call the local authorities and report that you've hit in the US.

I had a cat jump into my car once, I stopped and checked it out, it just ran away.

Perhaps it's different where you are but I'd still call you an asshole for not stopping or calling. Now if your country doesn't want such calls, then I understand that but I'll still call you an asshole for not stopping to check.

well it probably depends on the state, i don't think the federal govt. has any say in dogslaughter cases

but that's just my assumption based on my knowledge of federalism.

EWOK <does/not/equal> DOG

Find me the preceding and I'll talk to some people.

I'm speaking for the Northeast, so Dog is the minimum in these parts (not deer though I have called for stray deer on the thruway); I would imagine it varies throughout the country. I would say that it's necessary to report hitting a moose, but most cars can't drive after hitting a gargantuan animal such as the moose so AAA or aid is immediately on the horn regardless.

I dunno, Ewok's are pretty fucking cool. I love dogs, as we all know, but I think Ewok > Dog.

Im ok. So on the way back we stopped to check the dog and we found the corpse on the sidewalk, some gentle soul removed it from the tracks. So there is it lying all stiff, a small dog with a leash, so someone will be sad. Oh, i took a pic of it with my cel, i will upload as soon as possible, not bloody.

He lived to thread about it, I wouldn't worry about him.

And I didn't say Ewoks were not better than dogs but different animals.

Well, there can be more than one creepy person...and this certainly qualifies for it.
