i noticed that
He'd know to expect it though. I think it's his first time on Hannity but it's not his first time on Fox. I think the other things he's done has just been their web channel though?

Yeah, I remember him being on there. Though that was different, iirc. Not so much Hannity talking over you.

I will give Fox one thing: for all the talking over you they do, they do tend to have more "opposition" guests than I see on a usual Maddow show. She tends to have guests on that she can agree with. That might reflect the different audiences. MSNBC gets the liberals who want to be patted on the back for their views but mostly watch serious news, and Fox gets the conservatives who want the HLN-esque stories (Casey anthony and the like) alongside the news, and like their news and debate with a combative flavor, with their side in the end seeming vindicated.
This is just some random speculation on my part.

I wonder how many "opposition" guests refuse to go on Maddow though.

I don't buy that at all, at least in relation to Maddow. She has people on that she doesn't agree with often enough, depending on the topic. She brings on Michael Steele way too often, and she doesn't agree with him about anything. Or Meghan McCain, or basically any republican who is willing to come on - most aren't willing to come on her show though. Secretary of Energy, and a lot of others. I don't know. I've seen her spar with the best of them, just seems that many are unwilling to take her to task.

Valid point. From knowing a solid number of hardcore democrats pretty well, though, I still think the patting themselves on the back observation is correct.
