I have a high school diploma of course, but i'm thinking about taking advantage of free classes being offered at a local college for a GED...My question is, when you sign up to participate in a GED program do they check your records to see your last education status?

so you graduated from high school in order to go to college to get a piece of paper that says you've completed the necessary coursework to have a substitute high school diploma? why not just go to, you know, college?

why are you wasting your time getting a GED if you've already graduated high school?
two reasons really...i want to see what material is included, how it's taught, how much easier it is than regular classes etc...and also i need to be pro-active in meeting women and i'm sure there will be some there, and i think i would be a little more comfortable talking to one in a classroom as opposed to trying to meet one out in public

yes, we do reimburse for classes but it has to be related to our jobs...i'm sure this wouldn't be approved, since they obviously know i have a Bachelor's...but that's all irrelevent anyway since i'm primarily concerned with classes on the GED level

why the interest in the rigor of a GED program vs traditional classroom setting? because that's the only marginal difference b/w regular college classes and GED classes.
you can meet as many easy chics in regular classes as you can in the GED classes at high school with ashtrays community college.

well, for one i don't really know anybody who's just gotten a GED...i've been to community college so it would be a good way to compare it for myself...plus, as i said in the original post it's free...community college wouldn't be
