A theater near me is doing a midnight showing of this sometime soon. It has something of a cult following.

i don't know if i ever want to see this movie.

I want to see it ten times in one sitting.

The director now tries to sell the film as an intentional comedy.

This has been playing at all the local theaters. One actually had the director introduce it for the first day. They had multiple showings throughout the day until midnight, and introduced every single one. I would have gone, but I really do think that would have just been awkward.

I wonder if this movie's at least broken even. I heard it cost over 6 million dollars to produce (!!!). But it's been playing for 7 years.
