So, to play off of my other thread, I have to quit my current job because I took another position. I'm not really a vindictive kind of guy, I work will some really cool people, so I don't really want to be a dick. But I do really hate a couple people there, and basically plan on telling them so before leaving.
The point of this thread is for you to give me your best story about quitting your job.
And if anyone knows a place where I can live in Reading, PA, hook me up, because I have little time to figure it out.

i was a telemarketer for 2 weeks once and on the day i was quitting I was doing jerky boys routines to all the customers, and it was glorious btw, and when the manager called me in to fire me I just looked at her and said "its ok bitch, I fucking quit. see ya later floppy tits!"
it was a fun day

That's a good one.
But I sort of want to give two weeks....although calling someone floppy tits does sound fun.

Wow, I live 20 minutes away from Reading, PA (you'll come to know Al's Diamond Cabaret there, it's my favorite strip club). My advice? DON'T live in Reading. The majority of it is completely ghetto -- the crime rate there is horrible. I'd suggest living somewhere outside of the city itself, or at least on its perimeter. Good luck.

I remember driving to Reading for the VFC PJ show....what a shitty little town. and it seemed like there was one road in and one road out, cause a 4 hr drive took us 6 with the traffic.
we did get to pass Dorney Park in Allentown though, brought back lots of memories

So, I've done a little research in the past couple hours, What you do you think about the Denver/Ephrata area? I am not a city guy by any stretch, so I want like a suburbuan/rural area.

The Denver/Ephrata areas are much better. The neighborhoods are nice and relatively quiet, and your commute to Reading wouldn't be too bad (I'm presuming the job is in Reading itself). You might want to look in Douglasville (it's east of Reading, about 5 minutes from where I live). It's a small place, but you can find homes that aren't "city"-like. Plus to get into Reading, you can jump right on the highway (422) and be there pretty fast, barring heavy traffic. Might be worth checking out.

I will be working right in Reading, on Penn Street/Ave or whatever it is.
Don't think for two seconds that when I went up for the interview that I didn't park in the same garage, in the spot where we tailgated for the VFC show. I figured that day was good, and I wanted some good vibes. Must have worked.

biggest mistake you can ever make
I won't have any motivation to actually do this, so it's basically all talk.

I quit my shitty job after I graduated from college. It was at a grocery store, I didn't tell anyone off or anything, I just did absolutly no work my last few days and left about 3 hours early without saying anything to anyone. But I did drop my nametag in the lobster tank
on a related note, I'm thinking of resigning from my current job. I just need to find something else first

So I am going to give my two weeks on Monday. I am a dick for not doing it today?
I also plan on doing basically nothing during those two weeks, it will be like I am a senior in high school all over again.

I think that's pretty much expected when you give your notice

So I did this yesterday. Kind of boring. Started the conversation sort of like, "well, I just wanted to let you know I am going to be moving on", it was boring, took like five minutes. Did it at the beginning of the day so I could dick off the rest of the day.

I have some job quitting stories but wanted to get this out.
I like that your name is TW because in work we have a girl nicknamed TW. It stands for Tea Whore because she is always going to get tea with different guys.
