I know the Olympics are past now but I have decided I really want to make the next Olympics. The whole thing looked like a whole heap of fun. The problem is, I don't think I'm good enough at any sport.... but then I had a thought. They had this game called European handball, no Australian team was involved. Sure I can run around and throw a ball into a net, this looks really easy. I was having a few drinks with friends and we thought why not, lets represent Australia at European handball at the next Olympics. Who cares if we get flogged 40-0 every game, we get to party in the Olympic villiage, meet all the hot female athletes, Amanda Beard, those beach volleyballers..its gonna be great. So this morning I do a bit of research and I find a number for the European handball association in Australia.
Phonecall goes as follows:
Me: Hi, I'm looking to form a European handball team and was wondering if there are any registered teams in Australia
Receptionist: Well actually sir we have a really strong league of 22 teams and at the moment there is no real place for another team
I hung up the phone shattered.....
I guess the Olympics are out of my range..surely there must be some team sport me and my mates can have a go at..something..anything..I know I have the dedication to make it at something

You are forgetting one vital aspect of luge. You need to be able to yell out GO GO GO GO GO GO GO GO really loud before you lie down. Its a fine art but I think I'm up for it...count me in for the team

what about ping pong?
As an Aussie you may be better going for a winter sport as I doubt that Australia has that many winter teams. You'd probably be able to be a token representative at something like curling. It's easy and fun!
