Any talk of finances makes me mad. Money money money. No-one has enough of it. The missus looked at the statement today and goes 'we've had more going out than coming in the last 2 months'. It just pisses me off. Can't life be more than about fucking money? I'm probably (quite possibly) rather irresponsible, and px would no doubt call me a CHILD, but talk of money and finances between my wife and me ALWAYS puts me in a shit mood.
EDIT: And, yes, I realize there is probably no logic to this, but it is what it is.

We live a good life, and we've had a lot of visitors lately, particularly from overseas, and that always soaks up cash with entertaining and travelling and whatnot.

My wife. When we moved from Australia to Ireland, we had to close down our internet accounts with our service providers and we went with a web-based email system. To cover all bases while we were away, I called the account randallanddarcy@xxx. Of course, Darcy is her nickname, not her real name, and she started her own email consisting of herrealnameanddarcy@xxx so it was all a waste of time, really.
Hinny's really good friends with her. She saved his arse from destruction after the Manchester 2009 show. She only really goes to PJ shows with me to see all you guys. She likes PJ, but isn't rabid, but she's made so many good friends through the band, she comes on tour (mostly).

That's the thing, we ain't skint. We nearly own our house in Australia (which is rented out) and we pay rent in Ireland. We ain't skint. And she didn't even yell at me. All she said, as nice as can be, is "We've had more going out than in the last 2 months" and that was it, my mood fucking plummeted. I ain't a money oriented person, so why mention it round me. That's her job to mind that side of things. Fuck it.

Thanks, Pete. Hopefully there'll be some entertaining stuff in GD tonight to cheer me up.
True story: when I first started using RM, and people mentioned "GD" I couldn't figure out why they were talking about "Green Disease" all the time. It didn't seem to fit any of the conversations.
