I will be, yes, but not a lot. I owe less than $10k from undergrad, and I plan on getting a good amount of aid and scholarships for grad school.

My (very serious) girlfriend really wants me to, and she also makes a very good paycheck. Better question I guess would be "Should I lock that down?".

I'm just sayin' that there are high ranking executives in this world with only college degrees. Given the state of the economy, it might be better to just find a good company, learn all you can and move up that ladder. I know plenty of people who have done it.

It's a slow day at work...RM just wasn't bustling enough for me. This at least got a flurry of attention.

Thanks for the advice, Coach.

No worries, man.

The MBA or grad degree can certainly help push you over the top when you are up against another fella with equal experience.....but if you are at the right company you might be able to work your way up by taking some classes (typically called "continuing education") under their watch rather than going for the full degree.

If you demonstrate that you want to continue to learn and take classes, that typically goes over really well with execs. My point being that there is a time and place for taking post-college courses...you just don't need to grab that MBA right away.

All of the graduate programs I'm looking at are fully funded and would give me anywhere between 10,000 and 25,000 per year after tuition remission. It's actually the most financially viable option for me.

Fuckin' do it. I actually really enjoy classes. I might just not be ready for real life yet or something.

I finally got around to grad school after being out of school for two years. This is currently my first semester back, but enjoying it and hating it at the same time. It kinda sucks since I'm working full-time, but it does provide some intellectual gratification and hopefully a much better job at some point.
