When I get these delicious tacos that they are serving all over town these days, they always give me plastic containers full of homemade hot sauce. This hot sauce is always more than I need for the taco, and it's probably a good thing to have around the house for various other recipes. I think that this simple action of "saving the sauce" is starting to look like the backbone of my entire belief system at the moment.

I "saved the sauce" the other day too when I noticed that a newspaper was left at a bench on campus and still had the crossword puzzle intact.

Your posts are starting to look like the backbone of my entire belief system these days. Take that however you want, but it's the gods' honest truth.

i look forward to getting to know you via interview, but I don't have any questions at this time. I'll try and "save the sauce" from some of this weekends' experiences and work them into your interview thread on monday.

I'm going to start using "save the sauce" IRL. Probably all the time. Just a heads-up.

I'm glad that you are taking this thread seriously, Joey. I post things like this knowing that some of the regulars are going to have some good posting opportunities at my expense, but there is also very real emotion going on when I save the sauce from my day and post it here.

I think anyone who isn't taking this thread seriously doesn't understand what saving the sauce is all about. And probably isn't ready.
