We all know the "Opening the windows" thread, but what about closing the windows? Hmm?

I sleep with my window open because I like a li'l breeze and because my room is really, really warm.

This morning I got up to close it because of all the noise pollution aka jackhammers, birds chirping and stuff.

And what's the deal with blinds and curtains?
Do you keep them open/closed?
You like the sun hitting you in the face while you sleep?

I like curtains that block out all sunlight.

me too. I like having the room pitch black. But I like to have the window open even in the winter time.

I do stuff in my room even with the curtains/blinds open. There's no one in front of my house!

Windows open during the day and when I fall asleep. Usually have to close it in the morning or if I wake up in the middle of the night.

Its too cold to keep my windows open. Shade down when I sleep, open during the day to let the light in tho.

I keep my window open at least a crack(except when I'm pumping AC in the summer) at night year round. I cant sleep if it's warm at all really.

It's like we were separated at birth...

I cannot sleep if I am already warm because I need at least a sheet covering me and I cannot be overheated. That being said, a cool room, but warm blanket is easily the best way for me to get to sleep. I unfortunately sleep in the hottest room in the house for some reason.
