working on a primarily green creature deck but I need a good control/ direct damage type strategy in another color to finish out the deck. The catch is I don't want to use red so the easy solution of Lightning bolts and Hammer Throws is out. I was playing this deck yesterday and had my opponent down to 3 life and then I barely closed out the game. Anyway a deck never feels like it has balance as just one colour to me. Pulled a Sphinx of Magosi today from a random booster pack. Nice surprise.

I pretty much used to play Magic the Gathering like a lot in 1999-2002, but never have even looked at my cards in a while.

I probably forgot how to play, and I probably have first edition cards and I have no idea what the newer editions have in store, :oops:

So you play with others in person? I know nothing about it really, but it sounds a lot like Warhammer Fantasy except with cards insted of minatures.

Yeah I have 2 friends who. It's a little weird but I get sincere joy from wasting time and opening packs and then building new decks.

I had always had wanted to play Rifts when I was a bit older than a kid. Nobody I knew was much into it, though.
