You guys know that when you type "xmas" you're really just cleverly disguising the name Christ much like early Christians did with the symbol "X" in order to avoid persecution and death, right? Let's come up with something a little less ironic.

In Japan, they call Santa "Annual Gift Man" and he lives on the moon.

I have a Christmas party on the 23rd, Extended Family on the 24th, Parents and brother and whoever else the 25th. Buffalo Bills game on the 26th.

Busy string of days, but it will be welcome compared to the nothing I am doing right now.

Probably a funeral.

But to compensate, our house looks like someone puked Christmas inside. It looks splendid.

Rifraf, are you traveling to some unsafe destination?

My last grandparent. It'll be okay. Just don't really want her to suffer much longer. We shall see.

Man, I actually had very little to do with decorations this year. My mom wanted to do it because it's therapeutic for her. She tends to go all out every year, with help (me). This year she wanted to do it alone, and there are more decorations and covered surfaces than ever. I did however put the tree together and string the lights on it, and go through my mom's ridiculous process for hanging all our sentimental ornaments. :| Place looks pretty jolly.

I'm staying right here. This looks to be the first Christmas my wife and I have spent alone, just the two of us. Should be nice. I plan on consuming copious amounts of eggnog & bourbon.
