10 miles in 79 minutes

Ugh. Felt my arthritis for the first time in months. Pushing 170 now. Gonna have to get serious about training soon or this shit is gonna snowball.

9 miles today, on the back side of 79 minutes. One of the best 9 milers I've done. Really gave it everything. I clocked mile three at 7:39, which is the fastest I've ever run a mile.

Hopefully, I won't pay too severely for it. I'd like to hit another 7-10 tomorrow.

I have no discipline for that kind of distance. After about 3-4 miles I get bored.

Oh, I have to fight boredom frequently. Some days it's easy, some days it's a drag. But mental endurance is part of it, too.

 Nice work, brother.

Thanks!

My official time was 79mins 48sec. So it was closer to 80mins, but that's still better than usual. Especially since I haven't really tried to push myself since late September.

Definitely one of those takes all you've got type of runs for me. But it was worth it. Felt great.
