Usually I run between 16-21 miles per week. Don't really do any other kinds of excercise.

damn, nice 5k time. do you recall your training regimen for that race? did you do any particular speedwork exercises?

The only thing I do to increase speed is run a short distance (1 or 2 miles) and focus on a faster pace. I did 2 miles in 11:48 the other day.

I've often assumed the average "internetter" gets very little exercise and that is often revealed in his or her waistline. Good for you internetters for working out.

my best 5k time is 18:45. i trained by listening to a lot of Rage Against the Machine
i get concerned about running too much and dealing with bad knees and hips in the future. i run 4 miles (~32 min) twice a week and three miles (~24 min) twice a week.

Is that a lot? Sometimes I go to Target on my lunch break and curl some of their 15 pounders. It doesn't seem that hard, but 25 pounds is exactly 10 pounds more than 15 so I dunno.

carrying a grease heavy bag of chick-fil-a to the park and eating it in a tree would yield similar results, just sayin.

They don't have an in-store Pizza Hut. Are you even employed right now?
