when the heater comes on in my apartment it sounds like when a submarine gets hit by a torpedo in a movie and all the steam valves blow and they're shooting out shit. does anyone else experience this? i complained a few times to my super and he'll come and fix the valve or whatever and it will be fine for a few weeks and then it gradually just gets bad again.

bad boiler in the basement...happens all the time in old NY buildings..
