Seriously, I grew up having to pay for anything I wanted aside from food and shelter. Everything I own, I earned and I don't expect anyone to ever hand anything to me. I think too many people feel entitled because they always got what they wanted growing up.

I'm sure there's a balance. My mom pays for my cell phone to this day but that doesn't mean I'm a spoiled brat either.
