every day at a certain time i have to log into a program at work to get a report. the way it's set up is you go somewhere in the program to generate the report and then you go to a different place to "pick it up", i.e. select and print it once it's been generated.
anyways, the cool part is that if i do the whole thing fast enough, after putting in the order to generate it when i go pick it up i can look at the time it was generated and sometimes, sometimes, the time at which it say it was generated will be ahead of the actual time that shows on my pc.
the whole thing makes me feel like i just travelled forward in time and it makes me smile inwardly.

This is really ridiculous but it's the first thing that came to mind: when my iPod is on shuffle and the next song starts with the same note that the previous song ended with. It just kinda makes me smile.

I have this OCD thing I do sometimes when if I'm repeating something in my head or listening to a song I'm counting syllables (or beats) on my fingers. I have my fist clenched and I'm pressing one finger down against my palm for each syllable. I get really happy when there's an odd number in the phrase I have going in my head because then I can repeat it until it ends on my pinky, and then repeat it again until it ends on my thumb. It won't work with an even number.

holy fuck, my gf did the same thing for the first year or two I knew her. To this day, I can tell when she's thinking about something important because her fingers start counting the syllables of her thoughts. you guys are freaks.

When my five year old niece get's really angry about something, she get's super animated and her arms flail and her face gets all red like a tomato. I know it sounds mean, but it's usually about something SO crazy trivial (Like when it was too late to play outside and she screamed "It's not your problem, it's my problem. I'm making it YOUR problem!!") that I nearly pee myself with laughter.
