I have a new building in southern NJ right near Camden. I've been here for three weeks with the start up & I hate every single second I spend here.
It's like the entire state is populated with Fred Durst and Marisa Tomie's character from My Cousin Vinny.
I thought the Jersey Shore show was a parody of sorts, but I was very wrong.
And everything smells like rotting onions.
Going over to Philly is a lot better. I will be staying there next week for sure.

My hotel is in Cherry Hill, my building in Camden. What's fun & not shitty? Is there a nicer area still close by (20 min) that I should be?

So far I have found TOP DOG, but that got old after 2 meals and the Philee sports bar. the food sucked.

I'll take any travel guide advice that will help.

I am all about New Jersey.
I love being a Jersey girl.
I love the highway and transportation system
I love the turnpike (even though it smells bad at some parts).
I love being able to go from the boonies, into an industrialized wasteland, into the "hood", into suburbia, into McMansion territory.
I love our diners, the shore, tomatoes, blueberries, cranberries, salt water taffy, rigged boardwalk games, high taxes, auto insurance, cost of living, and the corruption.
I love how North, Central, and South Jersey may as well be three different states.
I love being within 20 minutes from a mall no matter where I am.
I love not pumping my own gas.






But fuck Camden though.
And fuck Philadelphia.
