I'm about to have to go to the store just to buy some sponges for my sink. When it comes to shopping, nothing's worse than buying non-food items if you ask me. Purchasing soaps, detergents, towels, trash bags, etc just feels like I'm wasting money even though this stuff is just as essential as food and drink. Anyone else feel like this?

I'm more comfortable making separate trips for this sort of stuff rather than tacking it on to my grocery list when I do my weekly shopping. I just hate watching my well-budgeted food bill at the register just get completely jacked up when that barrage of paper goods comes sliding down to the cashier on that conveyor belt.

Like what?
I bought a new mop the other day because the other one was a year old and rusted so bad that when I tried to ring out the water into the bucket, it disintergrated into a cloud of smoke. - So I was pretty happy about that new purchase.
I'm fine with groceries but eating out, - pisses me right off!
Paper towels, trash bags, and such are basically reusable so I only buy them once or twice a year.
You reuse your trash bags, Lenny?
Yeah. Just empty it out in the outside trash can, then immediately fill bag with water and soap, shake it, let it sit awhile, let it dry out, and it's ready to go again.
