that some people invest a little too much time in their Internet life compared to their everyday non-Internet life?

To be clear, I'm not faulting them in any way. It's just a matter of how each person is being social.

Maybe people relate to the Internet in different types of ways.

For example,

Level 1 - The "Distant Internetter" (my dad) - he only answers his email because he likes to hear the "I've got mail" sounds when he logs in to retrieve his email FWDs about anything that has to do with out right to bear arms.

To be clear, if someone has found that their Internet life has proven to be more important than their physical everyday life I am not faulting them.
