Today, a friend of mine emailed me a link to download a Todd Snider live album. He bought the album on vinyl and received three free download codes. One of them he kept, and the other two he sent to me and another friend of mine. I am downloading a copy right now, but I probably will not listen to it for a while. When I do listen, however, I will probably enjoy it a lot. For me, Todd Snider is one of those artists that goes well sometimes but not always, which is why I need to choose that time wisely.

I mistakenly said "live album", but I meant official bootleg. This isn't a compilation or anything. It's just a complete show from a venue in St. Paul, MN dated 11/9/11. Also, I'm looking at the email again and he bought an "mp3 live album", not a vinyl record.

Are there any RMers from Minnesota that attended this concert?

I bought a couple of Love & Rockets comics a couple of summers ago, which led me to a title called "Luba". I liked Luba better than L&R, but ultimately sold them all to Half Price Books within the year. Now I just read web comics from time to time if I want a "slice of life" storyline and interesting graphics. It's irresponsible of me to spend my money on second hand comics or trade paperbacks.
