Christmas Day was kind of a bummer this year, very glad it's over.
Every year we say we're going to stay home and not see any other family members, we really need to start putting that into practice. Envious of my brother who lives on the other side of the globe and just has to Skype everybody for 5 minutes - that sounds perfect.

I can't fucking wait to see my nephews tomorrow.
In school, they made "reindeer food" which, from as far as I can tell is just Glitter and Frosted Flakes. So tonight we had to go sprinkle it in the yard, and my daughter could barely concentrate on throwing it around the yard because of how she was staring into the sky... just hoping.
Yeah, when I was a kid I used to leave a carrot on the table with the cookies. Now b/c of the Elementary Industrial Complex, I have to freeze my ass off spreading crap on my lawn. #magic

The holiday's only as depressing as you make it.
see the whole life is what you make angle is actually more embarrassing for you. What exactly will you accomplish in your life? I've yet to meet a "I worked for it myself" type person that wasn't totally mediocre. Then again I've yet to meet anyone who wasn't mediocre in this easy world. Life is easy and it's embarrassing. At least depressed people don't take credit for something that was handed to them.
Take a few minutes to arrange your ideas into a logical argument, then make this post again. I have no idea what the hell you're trying to say.

Stop whining on the internet and go hang out with people you love.
pretty inconsiderate to people who have no one
True. Addendum: if you have no one you love, it is completely justified to whine on the internet.
Christmas eve was a lot of fun. Had a big dinner with a lot of friends, then stumbled back home drunk at 3am to finish packing my bags. My room is a disaster scene. Taxi picked me up at 4. Spent Christmas Day jumping in and out of airports and doing a lot of waiting. It sucked. But then I finally made it to my dad's house and everything was great. I'm hanging out with my dog for the first time in a year. Yay Christmas.

Santa never ate the cookies left out for him at my house when I was a kid.
