If I were to come to New York, let's say 8 - 14 September, who'd guide me around?

Sure thing, mate. Usually people come from New York to Belgium to drink beer. The other way seems a bit strange.

Three things you should do:

Go to the Brooklyn promenade:

Eat a meal at Buttermilk Chanel:

And drink at Vol de Nuit:

I finally hit this joint up last week. Doug's right. Just pull up a chair and enjoy. It's the hardest place in NYC to leave.

Went here in January! Outstanding. A plus, if you like headcheese. I'd never had headcheese before, but I've been on this new year's resolution kick of trying something new every month, for sure, every week, if possible. Headcheese was my new thing that week.
