Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love NYC..its my favorite place next to Paris and Florence..It's just that 10 years was enough living there..took full advantage of what it had to offer and moved on..That was always our plan..make money and get out and enjoy the rest of our lives in a nice climate at the beach..we still talk about buying a studio there to have when we are in our 70s.. It did make us turn into people that we mostly despise so we had to leave to get back to normal if that makes any sense

Makes total sense. NYC is an asshole. I struggle with this every week, if not every day.

try your best to not let it happen..I miss the restaurants though :(

Yeah, the food here! Oh man... it's one of the things keeping us here right now, for sure. I don't know what we'll do once we've finally hit all the spots we want to hit.
