i've been there twice, once in november, once in late aug/early september.
november, it rained 3 out of 5 days, the other two days were pretty decent. aug/sept it was friggin beautiful.
however, from people i know who live there, it's kind of dreary if you can't handle several days/weeks of rain and gloom.
denver gets something like 300+ days of sunshine a year. it's a very active lifesyle here, especially w/the mountains where you can ski/board in the winter and hike/camp in the summer.

I'm going there for my birthday in June and then back again next January for a test.
I've been to Seattle only once, but I love it there. I wouldn't mind living there at all.

If you can handle rain its great. In college there was precipitation every day for like 95 straight days. I had to get the hell out after that. When the sun is out there is no better place, but thats only a few times a year.

I'm here in Seattle right now; NYC has nothing on Seattle, seriously, except higher rents; if I can remove myself from the East coast, I'm living here!

I enjoy rain from time to time, but not every damn day. If I lived in Seattle I would wear those goofy looking plastic galoshes everywhere I went and not even care.
there's alot more going on here than rain, ya know
Weather effects mood and I'm already a bitch.
you?
of course, ur right, it does effect mood, but there's so much good shit about this town and u can always get one of those mood lamps and drink tons of coffee like everyone else here does
My wife's been to both Seattle (2x) and Holland (1x in the fall). My favorite season is the fall in Europe. And she said the fall in Holland is basically as it is in Seattle all year. So yeah, if we have the opportunity, we're definitely moving. Especially when you live in a hot summer 365 days/year, its fucking depressing.
