Washing Machine's avatar is scaring me a little bit because it looks like a poltergeist,
and when I move the computer screen to different angles, sometimes it looks like a poltergeist of boobs.

I wish Dougray and Harmless would try on an avatar for size. Not having an avatar is just wreckless. IMHO.

There was a brief period when thodoks discarded an avatar, and I never could decided whether his posts felt different because there wasn't an avatar attached, or because he was trying on a new voice as well. Whatever the case, it wasn't a fun boarding experience.

I like the whole no avatar thing, I think it works well for IHRM in particular.
I wish I had the balls to do it, but alas I'm a total coward.

i thought about it once and could not come up with anything..a bottle of beer or whisky would be too obvious and frankly quite boring

A railroad or locomotive themed avatar could be charming if done right.

It should be a ball of hair clogged in a Kohler drain.
