Doing good, we recently watched through all of the James Bond films. Rather interesting movies, also Mission Impossible but we stopped after the third because neither of us had a clue what was going on.

We have power right now, but cable/telephone/internet is out. I'm currently hitching a ride on my Verizon 4G LTE network.

I'm pretty happy that things aren't any worse. There's a little slice of heaven on the south coast of Massachusetts that my family has always had cottages on. My mom has one and so does my aunt, and the rest of them are close family friends going back generations. Our place was completely destroyed in Hurricane Bob in 1991 and was rebuilt on concrete stilts to survive storm surges. It's right in the part of Massachusetts that gets hit the worse when a hurricane strikes this area. If you talk to anyone in New Bedford that was live for 1954's Hurricane Carol they'll tell you not to wish this shit on anyone. Sure, we might not get Andrews and Katrinas, but there are pockets of areas along coastal New England that can get fucked up enough to take away the excitement of the storm. I was 6 years old when Bob hit but I'll never forget what it felt like to see a piece of property that meant so much to a family just completely destroyed.

With that said, I still get excited about hurricanes, but am always worried they'll be worse than this.
