what is the expected set length for the Lolla set? the euro festival sets were a little lite... i know it won't be a full (pearl jam as headliner) set, but what do most people expect?
tonights set looks like a lot of fun for us jammers (i wish i lived in chicago), but there's no way any of these songs are played at the festival.
I am fully prepared for Lolla to be a "greatest hits" type set for the run of the mill "alternative" rock fans and teenagers there who still only hear the 6 song power hit mantra from Ten/Vs/Vitalogy on the radio. I cry on the inside everytime I think that I am 20 fucking minutes away from this theater and I can't be there...
How did my karma become so misaligned to place me in this position?

They leaked that disc to generate some hype for this weekend.
All kidding aside, it would not be the first time that something like that has happened in the entertainment world. Also a great way to get back at your old label for something they did to piss you off. Many different reasons for the "leak", but one thing's for sure - I want to hear more of those songs live!
Perhaps the remixed lost dogs and the leaked DC show are products of Uncle Clive's hype machine.
It will be interesting to see what they bring to Lola.
did they play Dirty Frank or not?? Synergy is confusing.
Looks like they did.
The text in thread said it was 'on the setlist', not 'it was performed. Guess it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, but still interested in knowing.

It was not performed. Inside Job, Lowlight, Reign O'er Me, Black Diamond (Kiss song (sung by Matt)), Comatose, Sonic Reducer, and Indifference (with Ben Harper) made up the encores.

i have to admit, i didn't know the song when it was listed, but i just checked youtube for a clip of kiss playing it and its unbelievable, that's an amazing song and to think that pearl jam would whip that one out would mean that the roof would be blown off and people would leave the arena bleeding from the ears, that's awesome, and i hope it becomes a staple of shows... i want to see it for myself.

Black Diamond was dedicated to "Keith," a roadie for Sound Garden, Pearl Jam, Neil Young, and Ben Harper. Oh, and Matt's wife and son sat behind the drum kit during the entire song.
