I just listened to the studio version and I can see what you're saying. I still think that live version sounded pretty cool though.

for wat it's worth, I'm not a fan of it but it sounded great in the room.

That's not entirely true.

I can confirm. I was at night 2, sitting right in front of the soundboard, and it was easily the worst sounding concert I've ever attended. Total shit. Like trying to hear a boombox across the grand canyon.

It's like, where's the fuzz?


Also, even in the live version, I swear Ed is saying "guess those fellationships ain't my thing".

I'll be honest with myself, I definitely gave them passes that night in the moment due to the emotion. But there were definitely plenty of songs that were performed so badly that I remember sitting their shaking my head. No Way comes to mind especially. I was so excited to finally get to see it live and I couldn't enjoy it.

The bootlegs magnify the crappiness of the performance ten-fold. I don't understand how anybody can listen to show #3 and say that it's one of their greatest performances. It just boggles my mind.
