Anybody else, love this version, its the best version they ever played, I think. Its gotta be Stone going electric, adds so much more to the song.
I was jumping up and down in my livingroom when they started to play it, finally!!!!! ANd I noted that PJ was the first band that played that night who actaully broke a sweat, adn PJ did it in the first song.
Yes, it was an excellent version...can't put my finger on why....maybe because of Stone, but maybe because they knew they were playing for a tougher audience and stepped up ont he concentration/intensity etc.
hmmmm

I rekon Ed's voice just sounded so full and powerful (in the chorus of course), moreso then any other live Bushleaguer song I have heard. I also couldnt hear Matt's voice as backing vocals during the chorus all that well either.
I also have a feeling the tempo, was a tad bit quicker.

YEP, loooooooooove this version. It was just so fuckin intense. The time and place for it to make an apperance was perfect. Stone DID sound incredible and Ed's voice was so on it, so passionate, intense and powerful. That mixed with the utter anticipation for this one, definitely has this being one of my fav versions of it yet.

I like how they started right into it with the full band playing and Mike letting it rip (like the studio version), and not just Stone starting it off alone. It sounded especially cool after Ed's speech ("...Peace, man."). Also, I like how the outro sounded. I think Matt changed up the beat a little bit at the end...i could be wrong, but it sounded better to me.

I was also screaming in my LV when they played it. I was waiting to hear it on the tour and never did THEN they play it at DC and totally redeem themselves. :)
Great version! I agree.
