Some show in 92 where he tags it in by singing "without your match thier is no flame"

Just recently got this show and I have to say that is one of the best versions of Black that I've heard.
I'm just listening to this show for the first time... well... wow!
great show. great black.

God! Do you guys remember the years when they stopped playing "Black" altogether? Ugh! How awful would that be if they ever did that again? Us fans would lose our minds. Black has only gotten better and better over the years. Ever since '98, since they've let Mike go off at the end of the song, it has only evolved into this epic. This song is the one song that constantly gives me the chills time after time after time. And when the crowd does the "do, do, do ,do do's", OMG, that makes it that much more incredible. I miss the days of "We Belong Together" but it was nice to see that Ed broke it out in Calgary. It's nice to know that the possibility is still there. Later

yeah Montreal and Ottawa were just superb this year...great shows overall...Wash and Release back to back couldn't have made me any happier....
I vote for Melbourne 3/17/95...lots of emotion in that one. Paris in 96 was pretty good too I think. But there are several circa 93-94 that are just superb.
Song takes on a whole other level when Eddie gets into it. Same with Jeremy and Porch...they can just soar.

This thread needs to be resurrected because of the Black from Boston night 2.
I have a video of it, dubed over the bootleg so I dont have to hear my off key voice screaming that was already dead from night I. Not best quality vid but my oh my what an awesome rendition. Hope get another one in the 2 night stay in E. Rutherford
