We were fourth row!! On Mike's side but still in the center section. I'm not sure how, because I'm 125xxx, and my estimation from Touring Fans was for about 11th row, so we were grateful.
At the end of the show, Ed walked to the crowd at the far end of the stage just past us, looking for the "right" person to give it to. As he hesitated, he looked to his left, saw my sign, then lowered his eyes and shook his head twice as if to say "You got it, I'm coming'". He pointed at me, and very deliberately threw it over everyone to get to me.
I was beyond psyched! Luckily - I'm a drummer, so I have the perfect room to display it, and own a frame shop, so I will have something fun to frame.

Hey man, Small world! I remember you. Yes these were AWESOME SEATS!! In 1998 I got front-row-center (listen to the boot about "some guy up front has signs saying May I Play Drums With You) but that was back when the earlier you mailed your request, the better your seats. I'm hoping DC and MSG will be decent too, but I doubt any others will be as good seats as these were!
(....and remember that girl right in front of me in the cowboy hat? *sigh*)
Anyway - I was very glad that Ed had as good aim as he did. He made a b-line for me once he saw the sign. That was real cool of him. I'm surprised it worked out the way I planned!
The girl in the second row caught 2 of Mike's picks, and passed one behind her to share, so it was a cool crowd!

Hopefully you won't have spawned a million imitators, hahaha.
I saw a guy at the poster stand after the show last night with one. And this girl had McCready picks that were yellow and have the images of his dogs on them.

Yeah, Mike was very generous with the picks. Never quite enough though. But that's not a bad thing.
I hope the imitators do something more original. I think the uniqueness is what got it for me.
