I''m sure this has been done: what's the consensus on best shows from 08?

I'd rank MSG2 towards the bottom. Bonaroo was sloppier than fans and the band would have hoped. Mansfield2 ?

Berkeley night 2 was the best Pearl Jam show last year.

And it only had 2/5 of Pearl Jam there. Go figure.

I said depending on your criteria.. just stating the ones people talk about..forgot Camden 1 btw.

I perso don't rate Bonnaroo that much, Hartford has a great setlist but not much energy. but MSG2 was awesome on that level.
Mansfield 2 had a good combo of setlist and atmosphere.

main criteria: if you went any of the shows, it was the shows you went to. if you went to all of the shows, fuck you. if you didn't go to any of the shows, tampa, definitely tampa.

I thought MSG 1 was a lot better than MSG 2. My humble opinion

I think it's silly to pick a recording because of atmosphere. Recordings, rarely, if ever, relay the atmosphere.

Disagree, again. The taper really only captures the "atmosphere" in his area. Plus, too much "atmosphere" = shitty recording.

So 2 out of 250 ish official bootlegs. That's less than 1%. I'd call that rare.
