By a crazy coincidence my flight back from Japan was booked to arrive yesterday at 8pm...so when the Eddie tix for Toronto went onsale i bought both nights and prayed my flight would arrive ontime. 15 hours and one crazy connection through vancouver later i made it. great show last night...highlights being long my you run (played only once before at eddie's mom's birthday) and a great parting ways with liam on co-vox that was reminscient of the 7 worlds collide version. cant wait for tonight :D

Believe You Me was a nice surprise too.

Good show, but Ed sure fucked up a lot. I felt like his reverence for Massey Hall got the best of him. Hopefully he's more relaxed tonight.

Liam Finn covering Old Man was the highlight of the night for me.

ya that set sounds about right...although 2nd song was trouble, 3rd sometimes i'm pretty sure. It almost feels like there was something eles in there but maybe not. Oh, Elderly Woman was in there too somewhere near 2/3 mark.

Great show. Great arc. Believe you me i was in shock. Have to find out how often he's brought that nugget out.
Tons of stupid yelling fans...much worse than montreal1, but as usual it became sortof funny and ed had some fun with it and it added a bit to the intimacy and whatnot....although for real, what is the deal with going to such a show hammered and yelling out rock songs or stupid comments with your drunk buddies. oh well.

liam finn's 'old man' cover was definitely super cool as well. maybe eddie will finially do a full version of cinnamon girl in TO tonight. Ps. anyone have an extra ticket?

some reviews....
i love how they get facts wrong like the timing of the show, the order of songs, and other such things like how millworker was played - it wasn't, although teased.

Post some of the good ones in the "stupid comments" thread.
