Ever since I discovered a gold mine of an ftp site* that had all but the Wishlist performance of PJ on Letterman shows, I have been able to burn a disc to pop in my DVD player and re-watch all the Letterman’s in chronologic order. After several reviews I have come to the conclusion the April 12, 2000 performance of "Grievance" is my favorite one! It is for so many reasons....but most of all...it's because it's the only one where Mike smashes his guitar at the end of the song. That's cool!
What is your favorite Pearl Jam Letterman performance???

Try and try again. You’ll get on….it has a limit of how many people can be connected at one time. If you have ftp questions please post them in the Technical Support section. Please keep this thread about the subject title. Thanks.

The coolest one for me is probably Grievance. Thinking back to the experince, I was like a freshman in high school i think, so I stayed up just to watch them with the tv turned down, and since the lead single was NAIS, that was kind of expected, but at the same time I didnt expect them to play such a slower down type song, so just thinking back to seeing Matt hit the drums and hear this awesome rocker begin with mike going crazy and then throwing his guitar down, it was sweet and I could not wait to hear all of Binaural at that point.

Probably Hail, Hail, mainly because that particular show was commercial-free and the whole episode kind of led up to PJ's performance (right after Bob's Borden 4-state Burrito Bonanza). Great performance.
