Underrated IMO
Europe was great, but US also had stellar shows (listening to JB III now) like Chicago, Detroit, Seattle 2, Memphis, Boston 1-2, Pitt, etc. Plus the band was very tight throughout most of the shows....2003 may have had more crazy, fun shows, but i think 2000 should not be overlooked

i think matt sounded better in 2000. the drums seemed so muffled in 2003
I will agree with this and I will also say to whoever mentioned it above that not being able to hear jeff is very bad, how could it not be? Also, it was very hard to hear Eddie on alot of the 2000 boots, see Seattle II for a good representation of that and especially listen to Alive and In Hiding, you can barely hear what he is singing.
Overall I thought there were a few standout shows from 2000 like Pitt (my fav), Tampa, Slovenia, Milan, Katowice II, Seattle II but I think 03 had more consistency and the setlists were somewhat better.

I personally find the setlists from 2003 tour somewhat redundant. I think they mixed things up a bit in 2000. Variety can be a great thing.

ok, my opinion. 2003 held some of the best performances ever by the band. For me, it was Buffalo 2003 which is a night I will never forget. Me and a friend went to Saratoga 2000 and Buffalo 2003 and we both agreed that 2000 almost seemed like a bad show by comparison. Maybe it was just those specific shows. I have recently listened to my audio copy of Saratoga 2000 and I'm amazed that I didn't appreciate it more but then I go watch my DVD of Buffalo '03 and I know why. Was 2000 a bad show, hell no, it was incredible. Is it underrated, no I don't think so. Was it anywhere near what I saw in 2003? Definitely not.

2000 was a much better tour than the 1998 and 1996 tours IMO, however, I feel 2003 was even better than 2000.
Hmmm... around March Madness time someone needs to create a bracket that has the 2003 #1 seed (2003's best concert) vs. the 2000 #64 seed (2000's 64th best concert) and so on all the way down to 2003's #64 seed vs. 2000's #1 seed. We'll vote on it to see the true champ. Now thats what I call Bracketology!

Man, I don't know, I think 98 is my favorite year. Jack on Yield songs (not to mention that it was one of the best tours ever IMO, like Australia 95 but unlike Australia 03, which was mediocre for Pearl Jam), 1st leg US is the best Matt Cameron drumming tour, tons of great shows, etc. etc. etc. If they go back and release soundboard shows, I'd love to see them start with 98 (and with 94+95 a close second.
