Please on the upcoming shows I hope Eddie finally shows Mary the door. This song has irriatated me from day 1. It serves no purpose live other than giving people 8-10 minutes to go shake the lizzard or get a refill from the keg. On the 47 bootlegs that I currently have with this god awful song on it I hit the skip button and each time say to myself "why do they insist on playing this?"

Mike gets his jolly's during Even Flow each night. Sure, Boom gets to show off but I'd much rather hear LBC any day of the week.

It's been tits Mary, but it's time for you to go and make way for Parting Ways, In Hiding, All Those Yesterdays, or Around The Bend to become an encore staple.

Well if you don't like Crazy Mary, then I guess the band should "retire" it.

i would much rather hear LBC or All Those Yesterdays than Crazy Mary.

i don't think it would hurt if they gave mary a break for a while.

I thought that was Even flow's purpose.

I'm fine with them playing Crazy Mary, but they don't have to do it every night. Mixing it up with other covers would be nice.

I like CM pre-Boom. It was a treat back then, now its just cause for Ed to smoke a butt and for Mike and Boom to swordfight with scales.

I support this idea. Electric or acoustic. Boom or no Boom. Fuck Crazy Mary. I fucking hate the song.

yeah the first time they did it with Boom was neat and special, doing it all the time almost ruins it for me.

I have yet to see it live, so no fucking way. Plus i absolutely love it, so no fucking way. If they kick CM out to play faithfull or butcher in hiding instead, i'll go ahead and buy Nickelback's best of.

It's OK, but I'd prefer them to play more of their own songs.

Im all for KEEPING The Crazy Mary...
Like the song
love the jams
love the Ed doesnt have to strain the vocals on it, and he gets a break from singing for a few mins... albeit he ruins resting the chords for a cig haha but still...

Im just waiting for Mike to start usen other solos instead of Stairway to Heaven??? considering the song now has the organ... how bout tossing in some doors Light My Fire? ;)

i'm ready for it to be gone. '00 was great for it. no boom (= no 8-10 min wanking versions killing valuable setlist time), and it was sprinkled onto their setlists for that entire tour. it's reached its saturation.

You need 8-10 minutes to shake your lizzard?

FYI dude, I happen to like Crazy Mary. Especially the performance from Philly in Oct. '05

This does give Eddie a chance to "recuperate" and theres nothing wrong with the 8-10 minute jam. Thats what the greatest bands are made of. God bless you Boom! I would like to hear it more often towards the beginning but the guys know what their doing when their working crowd control!
