So I am going to see Chris Cornell tonight at the Avalon in Hollywood, and I know Eddie's gonna be playing this weekend, so I'm sorta hoping that maybe...you know...can a brother get some Temple songs proper? Am I retarded?

I'm not holding my breath, but I am aware that they're both in LA at generally the same time. If Eddie does show for a few songs, high fives are being passed out gratuitously.

so I take it the answer was no?

Holy shit...Ed showed and they sang Seasons together. Not TOTD as people had wished for, but wow! I am dying to hear this (please let there have been a taper there).

I hope the above stated isn't ture. Cause I had to miss that show due to illness and exhaustion from Rage. But if it is true please let's get a copy of it.

Would be pretty cool to see them together... I'm sure EV blows Chris away in terms of singing, though.
do you know who chris cornell is?
Yeah, that dude that fucked up Hunger Strike on 2003/10/28.
But seriously, Cornell isn't that special. He wails too much for no good reason. Kim Thayil was the best thing about Soundgarden, what's he up to these days?

Vedder was a no show, but to anyone criticizing Cornell, lemme say that he was absolutely flawless...his vocals on Say Hello To Heaven were spot on. I am a fan of both Eddie and Cornell, and trying to compare these two makes about as much sense as a bag of hammers.
