this doesn't say anything

I've heard Mike play the same riff twice, but I've never seen anyone cite the song its from.
In Atlanta '94, it comes at the end of WMA right after Ed says "tomorrow morning, look in your history book..."
the melody of the riff compliments Ed's sentiment, and I feel like the two are part and parcel. i figured it was just a live moment of accidental brilliance.
well, i'm listening to Milan 2000 and during Even Flow around 3:55, Mike plays the same riff, but it's extended out for several measures.
it's such a minute thing, but my curiosity is really piqued now.
any help from the board in identifying the original song this is an allusion to OR if it's original Mike-- thanks!

i wouldnt think anything of it, i hardly even hear a riff of any prominence.
see, i think it is related for two reasons:
1) mike does the guitar "rake" thing with the delay right before in BOTH shows
2) the riff in WMA is only played through one time, but if you listen to it, it is clearly defined and it and variations of it come up in Milan (and it's actually better to tune in during Even Flow around 3:45)
I could be totally mistaken, but it just sounds too familiar, and 6 years apart makes me think its from something else.

And im even a big doors fan... I dont hear "The End" at all???
Hey, I'm probably the biggest Doors fan on here and it was the only song that came to mind that sounded remotely similar (I was listening to Atlanta 94, Milan 00 sounds like nothing to me). That's why I really just think it's Mike noodling.

hahaha
stupid me, listened to Milan 06 hahaha
ill have to go back later tonight and listen to milan 2000...
but yeah, at the end of WMA just sounds like... guitar noise. not enough of something to say its something?
Its not like when Mike tosses in Voodoo Child into Porch, or 3rd Stone from the Sun into Even Flow.
But sometimes it is just really up to the listener...
Ive got a version of RITFW (not sure on a date, but im pretty sure it was the 03 tour) where at the very end / outro... it sounds like someone is playing Prince's intro to "Lets Go Crazy"

yeah, I thought it was probably nothing. i mean, I guess for the number of hours mike has played live, he's bound to do certain things which sound similar and it's purely coincidental.
