Which shows have been people's favorites, and why?

Wembley, because I was there and because there was no Even Flow and no Corduroy

Wilco at the Paradiso in Amsterdam was a pretty good 07 show for me

Yeah its between Wembley, Dusseldorf and Copenhagen. though i seen to recall people saying the Munich set was also good.

I've listened to Southside boot today and, even if it's only a festival show, it kicks ass. I think I may even like such rockin' shows more than these slower ones - like Wembley
The whole tour has a 'garage' feeling and I like it - the setlist, the power, the audience recordings
Can't decide which show I like the most (judging by the sets, reviews, photos and some boots), so I put them in categories:

most 'surprising setlist' show: Dusseldorf
most overwhelming show: Copenhagen
most 'what the fuck?' show (aka the weirdest one): Chorzow
most rockin' show: Southside, Hurricane, Nova Rock
most 'so much about a warm-up tour' show: Munich
most 'Message Pit' show (aka the most overrated, IMHO): Wembley
most 'the best of' show (aka the worst one): Lisbon, Madrit

I think Munich would be my choice for 'the best show award' as it's setlist has the best balance of rare/hits and ballads/rockers but I am biased (I was there) so my opinion doesn't count.

I will only judge the 3 shows I've been to (Werchter is coming soon, nice).

Lisbon: great crowd, feel good mood. It was a festival, so I wasn't surprised by the Greatest Hits setlist. I had been to 12 shows before and heard / seen all the songs, was I bored ? of course no ! I had a hell of a good time, singing and smiling, and all the people around me were the same. The Portuguese crowd was great, it reminded of Milan last year, which will stay I guess my absolute best reference when it comes to crowd participation. The band was rockin', I loved it.

Munich: from the start, I was crazy. Sometimes > Porch (short) > Why Go > Gods' Dice. Best start ever (I have ever seen at a PJ show), 2 songs I had never seen live. And the rest of the main set kept the same pace. Encore Break 1 felt a bit flat compared to it, then Encore 2 picked it up, with No More, Footsteps, TYHD, Blood and Baba. Only regrets are the sound which was really bad, and the lack of crowd, the place felt quite empty, which surprised me as I thought it was sold out.

London: if I hadn't been to Munich, I would have enjoyed this show a lot more. Many not-so-played songs, but already heard at Munich. But there is THE highlight of my PJ shows of 2006 and 2007, Immortality: the "Berlin '96" intro, no fuckups, the mood, it felt unreal... Add Low Light for the personal rarity factor, a great crowd (but not up to the Milan and Lisbon levels, sorry folks !), no Even Flow / Corduroy / Small Town / Black / Better Man / Yellow Ledbetter. I was jumping up and down for the whole Rockin' with the lights out, Indifference...

So for me, it is a tie up between Munich and London: each has its strenghts and weaknesses, and Lisbon is behind, just for the setlist, even if the crowd was better than at the other 2 shows. It felt more like a party, where the band could have played any song, the crowd would have erupted in cheers.

I wish I had been in Dusseldorf (never seen Brain of J., I'm Open and Rats !!!) which I would rank as the best show for the setlist alone and Copenhague (HARD TO IMAGINE !!! It may be my absolute favorite PJ song !). I hope to end the tour on a great note with Werchter but I guess they will rock the place with the usual suspects (Animal, WWS, Even Flow, Go, etc.). Give me Hard to Imagine, Nothing as it Seems or Smile and I'll be happy !

Still two to go... I loved the two I went to, London and Düsseldorf. Can't choose which one was better but I had the most fun in Düsseldorf. Loved the setlists of Munich and Kopenhagen. Haven't followed the rest much.

My favourite is obviously Copenhagen, even if it was just yesterday. I fucking cried... more than one time... Long Road... Light Years... Love Boat Captain... the applause for the family members of the victims... it was all too much... I cannot see how Werchter could possibly top this. But still... never say never, I guess

I've only been to London and Copenhagen, and I think London is ahead. The crowd was much better and the venue was better. The Forum in Copenhagen seems to miss air condition, so it got really hot even before PJ took to the stage. Several people also passed out, as noted by Eddie from the stage.

London obviously had 10C-members only on the floor, so practically everyone knew every song. In Copenhagen there were more casual fans who seemed to have only heard the hits. Me and Juvenal went crazy when the band started HTI, while a bunch of guys just looked at us with weird looks on their faces. Also, a guy standing next to Juvenal said 'hey, Crazy Mary' as Eddie started Better Man

But I think the set list in Copenhagen might've been better, but the better overall experience was London. But both gigs rank among the best shows I've ever been to by any band.

i've been at Lisbon and London.

lisbon show:
first of the tour, i was wishing for a Reading (too much i know), so i wasn't with a great enthusiasm, maybe one new song like they did in Dublin would be great.
as the songs were coming i was saying "damn.. not this one... fu**", and at the end i was realy frustrated because it was a "best of" show. whatever friends who were next to me said "goddamn you just complain at every fu** song.. but after 10second you start "singing" it like there were no tomorrow" LOL like Xwayne said.. the crowd was great


London show:
no words can describe it..they played every song i wanted to hear (except HTI and NAIS.. goddamn).. Long Road such a great vibe with those blue lights.. Present Tense.. with all those voices gimme chills.. Low Light, Bushleauger, Indifference.. i was at the side near to the balcony, when i saw stone with an electric guitar i just ran into the middle looking for anyone of my friends and in 5s i was jumping with Edward screaming "INDIFFERENCE LINDO!!" (indifference beautifull) a song we both wanted so hard to hear.
beside all that the crowd was GREAT!!!!
at the end i was thinking "best concert i've been.. even better that lisbon II"

I went to three shows and they were all different.

Katowice was at the time a bit of a disappointment what with the short set and the fact I was not feeling to great. With hindsight however I have come to appreciate it a lot more. RVM opening was strange and really caught me off guard. I love Hail Hail and to hear that was great, Elderly Woman and Nothingman were songs I hadnt heard before and I loved these too. Daughter was amazing and definitely the highlight of the four shows I have been to. Indifference to finish was simply beautiful.
At the end I wasn't ready to go home, and I didn't realise at the time it was short, it held me captive from Elderly Woman onwards, a very good show.

Wembley was obviously very different, and it was my first proper PJ show. After seeing two sets mainly made up of 'greatest hits' it was good timing to get a more interesting setlist. I knew it was going to be a good show when Long Road opened, Eddie sounded like he was on form and the crowd were on very appreciative. Pretty much every song was something special but the stretch;
Immortality, Down, Present Tense, State Of Love And Trust, Why Go, Save You, Porch
was insane, and I thought after save you they would have to ease down a bit and then came Porch! Parachutes was a bit annoying as I dont really like that song although I found myself humming the tune the next few days. Also the final encore contained too much rhetoric and although heartfelt and true, should have been done earlier in the set. I love RITFW and the energy of that song, it was great to have everyone jumping and singing along, much like Baba at Reading. The sound was shit though.

Copenhagen had a very special atmosphere it was impossible to not be somehow affected by the emotion during this show, especially when when Eddie was talking about the Families of those lost. The setlist was very similar to London. Highlight for me from this show was hearing Breath and Light Years. This show was clearly difficult for Eddie and the band, and I wasn't sure if it was a PJ show or a remembrance show for the people that lost there lives at Roskilde, it was a unique experience.

Of those three shows I would have to say Wembley was the best. The mix of songs the crowd interaction and the band playing strong all reason why.

However Reading '06 is still unsurpassed and I doubt it ever will be probably because it was the first time I saw them and a strong setlist.

Of the five attended (London, Dusseldorf, Copenhagen, Nijmegen, Werchter) London was the best. I had the most fun at Nijmegen though.
