No crying no more. I've cried enough in Amsterdam, Heathrow and on the plan. So glad I've planned to have a couple of days rest before I gotta get back to work. Not so much from the physical side- I'm in better shape than ever after so much exercise in the last weeks, but mentally. Yeah, I went through this last November too, but that was all Australia. I never left Aust in the first place, but to do the trip at the end of the tour this time... to meet so many fine people who would become my family, and to break up after such a short time... it's like breaking up with 30 girlfriends all at once.
Shoulda seen the look on the Aussie customs guy's face-
Guy: how long have you been away for? Me: 3 weeks? Guy: What places have you been to? Me: Munich, Katowice, Paris, London, Dusseldorf, London again, Copenhagen, Leiden, Nijmegen, Werchter and Amsterdam. Guy: Oooooookkkay
Yeah, I knew this was coming, and rehearsed for it.
I'm gonna go down to the beach and chill out tomorrow.
Everyone has been so wonderfully welcoming. Thank you all soo soo much.

I think this is a fitting epitaph for Hinnmeister's tour:

I wake up early. Gotta find me something to occupy myself while youse are all still sleeping. There's only so many times I can slam Brecht and the bunk into the wall before I feel bad about it.
