What's the best place to be looking for a hotel? I'm sure the one's close to Grant Park are already booked or too expensive. Any suggestions? How's public transportation? How should I think about getting from my hotel to the park & back? I'm assuming parking is a nightmare and I shouldn't plan to drive from my hotel to the show?

Thanks for any suggestions.
I went in 2005 when it was a 2 day fest. I was in a hotel about 12 miles away and drove in each day. There is good underground parking within walking distance. I have checked into hotel prices. The Congress is across the street at $169 a night for Thurs. and $185 for Fri. and Sat. The Best Western across the street is $148 all nights. Neither are booked up yet. I will probably stay outside of downtown again to save money.

I'm having trouble convincing my husband to go to Chicago! We live in NYC, anybody have any news (or educated guesses) when the next time PJ will play East Coast might be? Do we have to wait for the next CD???
Maybe I'll have to go to Chicago without him!

Nothing scheduled for the rest of the year. That's nothing SCHEDULED. If they go on to play some one-off benefit, well, they wouldn't exactly be lying as long as they don't have it scheduled at this point.
