In all seriousness, I really hope so. Best album in 12 years, and they don't come within 6 hours of me. I would've gone to that show, but I kept having hope they would come to the South. Stupid me, I guess.

i didn't risk it, i drove from Tn to cleveland and cincy. i was hoping they'd come closer, but obviously we know how that turned out. i'm hoping they play around here again, but with starwood closed, i guess the sommet center is the next nash vegas venue that would make sense, though i would absolutely kill for a ryman show. and i'm hoping memphis won't be the closest.

Where in TN? That's where I'm at too.
I just saw the Black Crowes at the Ryman last week and it would be absolutely frickin' perfect for a nice club-sized show.

i'm in the boro. I saw the crowes there in october of '05. GREAT show. they are so good live. i wanted to go last week, but couldn't make it. i can't wait to see the pumpkins (or as some cynics are calling them-pumpkins 2.0) there in november. heavily debating seeing ben harper. it's just too great a venue to pass up seeing anyone you're even remotely interested in, that's for sure. i have a lot of friends from the dayton area (i grew up there) that now live in the cincy area, thus that trip. and i went to college just south of cleveland-closer to kent state, so it gave me an excuse to check out the old campus, thus the cleveland trip. but yeah, i was a little bummed to hear starwood was closing, it's literally a straight shot down broad st. (murfreesboro rd) for me. oh well. it's not like nashville that's much more of a drive.(if they ever decide to come back )
