The Cure is awesome. But I think Robert Smith is the only original member left.

Sort of. The band's line-up has evolved constantly, there is no real "original" line-up in the same way as other bands have a "classic"-type of line-up. RS is the only constant.

Actually, in my eyes and ears, the "classic" Cure lineup is the one from 85-90. Although the longest lasting lineup was the one from 1996-2007.

Yeah, I guess you're quite right about 85-90 line-up, it would be considered perhaps more "classic" than any other.
I certainly like that line-up but I also really love the Smith/Gallup/Tolhurst line-up in the early days and have a major, major soft spot for the Top touring line-up - they sound awesome (doesn't hurt that it's probably my favourite Cure album).
