Shhhhhhhhhh This is not cionfirmed, however, look for a PJ appearance on Letterman Thursday and Friday (6/19-20). They will record 2 songs on Monday 6/23. One song will be No More to promote the movie.

You're going to have to run this by me again. They're going to be on Letterman 6/19 and 6/20 but record two songs on 6/23? PEARL JAM CAN TRAVEL THROUGH TIME??/?

That'd be awesome, but it seems unlikely.
Thursday and Friday they're in Camden. Sunday they play DC. They could tape Monday before the MSG shows start, but what would they play?
I can't imagine Eddie would appear solo to play No More, and they already played a chunk of the last album on that webcast so they don't have new material to promote.

Maybe they'll bust out "All Night".

OK, yeah. Good point. You've changed my mind. Hahaha. There will be a Letterman performance in the next few days.

My source is "Mary" who works the ticket distribution for Letterman. I'll put it to you this way. I asked "Mary" if she heard any whispers of Pearl Jam performing on Letterman next week. Her response "There are no musical guests scheduled for Thursday or Friday" "There are bands coming in on Monday and Tuesday to record for later shows before the vacation". I got tickets for the Monday show. I am gambling they record on Monday.

I got a text message yesterday from Steve "The Janitor" who told me that he heard from Martha "The Massage Therepist" that she heard Dave tell Paul that Boom was scheduled to make a special guest appearance on Friday to promote his out of print book "I Like Organs and Nothing Else". Niether Steve, or Martha have heard anything further, nor have they heard about the rest of the band making an appearance along with Boom.

You and Fralick joined on the same day over 2 years ago. Coincidence?

I actually have been signed onto this board since 2000. I changed my name back in 2006 from Who 1977 to Gonzo 1977 in honor and Tribute to the late great Hunter S Thompson.

I'm all set for the Monday taping of Friday's show (the 27). I got my ticket confirmation from Lisa at the late show, and had a choice between the Monday or Friday, but there is already a scheduled band for the monday show. Meanwhile, Friday only has Morgan Freeman and some other comedian guy... They could definitely slip in a PJ taping!
Here's the tenative guest lineup for Letterman next week:
Mo 6/23: Will Smith, Joe Buck, Wild Sweet Orange Tu 6/24: Charlize Theron, Richard Belzer, Motley Crue We 6/25: Abigail Breslin, Barry Sonnenfeld, Tift Merritt Th 6/26: Mary-Kate Olsen, Jim Gaffigan, Gavin DeGraw Fr 6/27 (tapes 6/23): Morgan Freeman, Dwayne Kennedy Monday, June 30---Tracy Morgan; Coldplay

you fuckers are ruining my education prediction. IF they decide to play letterman, i bet they play education. with the way ed was talking about people getting involved with the world and not just sitting back and saying "wow. george bush sucks. wow, the environment is declining"...you should do something about it. if you do nothing, who's to say? maybe no one else will either. i imagine that's the reason for this tour...it's not to promote any album or any merchandise...it's to promote IDEAS.
