Everyone has an opinion about the shouting assholes during the Eddie solo shows, but I actually found them kinda funny and sometimes it made for some interesting back-and-forth from Eddie.

Montreal Shows
Fans: "Eddie, Eddie..."
Ed: "At this point we can establish that I know my name"
Fan: "Touche!"

Fan: "It's evolution baby!"
Ed: Plays the riff

Fan: "Rearviewmirror:
Ed: plays riff, then plays riff with the guitar behind his head, and then says he's been taking lessons from Mike McCready.

Fan: "I love that you love the Beatles!"

Fan: "Thanks for Bonnaroo"
Ed: "Ok"

Fan: "Spin the black circle"
Ed: Says something about people wanting a 2-for-1 deal.

Deep male fan: "I love you eddie"
Ed: "thanks, but guessing by your voice I'd say you're not exactly 5-foot-2."

The RVM riff got a bit more crowd reaction because he was playing behind his head.

Other stupid comments:

Fan: "How's Mike Mcready doing?"
Ed: "Mike McCready is good"

i think i'd be more impressed with him teasing DTE since is not his song (guitar wise). makes we wonder if he knows how to play the whole PJ catalogue.

At NJPAC, someone shouted:

"Play 'Release' for my dad who died from Cancer."

While immensely sad, Release is not a song Ed plays guitar on.

Do you remember what Eddie said during the crowd "the bird chirping" of Blackbird?

One of the fans made a whistle and Ed said something like "that's not how birds do it, you're doing it as if you're whistling at a girl. And then you get one of these" **flips him the bird** I don't remember the exact quote though.

Would someone really shout something like that if it was true? It's kind of an unusual thing to shout :?

"Piss break" it's shorter and easier to yell in one breath.

It was weird for sure, but luckily immediately forgotten because as he finished saying it Ed strummed the first chord of a song.

After Ed played "Girl From the North Country" I heard someone yell out "Isis", that made me laugh.

Later on, some yay-hoo yelled out "Dirty Frank" which made me chuckle as well.

It was super annoying in Toronto. Some dude yelled out "WHAT BAND ARE YOU IN?" to which Eddie replied "Stone Temple Pilots".
Someone else predictably yelled "Freebird", which Eddie didn't seem to find amusing.
