they have staggered all of the EV onsale times...this is smart except i actually think, if they were REALLY smart, they would limit you to ONE show per city. this way people that are very good at acquiring tickets (me) will not be able to get tickets for both nights vs. someone else getting to experience the show.

actually if they were really smart it would all be done via lotto. why should internet ticket acquiring savvyness have to do with whether you score tickets to a show or not? silly. of course, they don't give a shit about the fans (10 club) so it makes sense that they haven't really thought this out. their goal is to sell out the shows.

p.s. don't PM me asking how i get tickets. i have no secret sauce. it's just about fast internet connections and understanding the dynamics of the website.

i still give them kudos for staggering the onsales. it won't make it any easier for people to get tickets (still the same number of seats in each venue) but hopefully people will know quicker that they have missed out instead of having to wait for 3 hours.

again. lotto. just for club shows. think about it. not difficult. (coming from the guy that has scored VIC tickets and every EV show on the west coast that he wanted to go to - so I'm not biased)

or just don't be a douche and think no one on here knows how to get tickets. its the luck of the draw whether its through the 10c or ticketmaster.

hope everyone gets them.

you are wrong, douche. got both boston. i have never been denied tickets. i wasnt bragging - i was pointing it out so people didnt think i was complaining about the 10 club because i havent been able to get tickets. i have no reason to complain...the current system rewards me. and everyone can't get them. they are limited. that's the problem.

i'm not talking about this anymore.

this was the first time i ever tried to get tickets while at work. i have super high speed at home. it's much faster than work. i'm sure this played a factor, particularly when you consider firewall and additional routers etc. I knew I wouldn't make it but I had to try.

This is not the ten club's fault. Demand for these tickets is tremendous. I don't see what they could have done differently except lock some people out, like you're suggesting, and I'm not sure that's fair either. I didn't get to go so someone else shouldn't???

This is just how things worked out. I'm disappointed but I can breath. I can feel my toes. My wet hair feels cool on my neck and I'm very comfortable eating strawberries. What's not to like in life? I'm not going to begrudge anyone and I wanna hear all about it.

I am convinced that connection speed is the key. I am on a T1+ at work, basically "on" the Internet. I would need a real tech-head to explain the details, but cable modems and some residential DSL lines just don't have a chance when competing with direct connections.

I actually fly to Seattle and plug right into the 10 Club network...that's my secret.

T1 is slower than most cable modems nowadays, on the download side. Use a PC with a lot of RAM. My laptop is plenty fast but only has 1 gb of ram. My desktop has a similar if not slower processor, but 2 gb of ram. The PC was much faster on the same network, same router, both connected with a cable not wireless, both win xp, both firefox 3. YMMV.
